In order for you to get to see the Big Five, you have will have to go to a car rental in Nelspruit. Once you have packed your car, it is only a short drive to one of the gates to the Kruger Park. The Park has grown over the years with the absorption of neighbouring farms who stock wildlife and offer hunting and safari’s tours. Some tour operators within the park have tented camps that add to the “Out of Africa” feel. After a day in the bush you will be treated to an outstanding African barbeque and you may even get to taste real “game meat” like that of the Kudu roasted over a naked fire. Game drives are done early in the morning, so the visitor can catch a glimpse of some of the more timid animals as they return to the various watering holes. While other tours include nature walks on foot, with an armed field guide. There are various hides and discreet viewing points to stop at. Lunch and breakfast are prepared by the guides and one can enjoy the meals at one of the many picnic spots in shaded areas out of the African sun. This great outdoor experience is something you will be telling folks back home for years to come.
